This programme was established by Brian Kelly, an advanced paramedic working with Dublin Fire Brigade. Cardea fitness aims to provide a structured exercise programme to help clients manage risk factors for or diagnosed chronic disease.
The core tenet of the programme is an affordable service, delivered by experienced staff, that puts safety at the centre of all it’s operations .
Brian has over ten years experience working in the fitness industry as both a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Over the last three years he has specialised in exercise and chronic illness and has worked in the Medex programme under Dr. Noel McCaffery.
In addition, Brian has worked in Dublin Fire Brigade as a firefighter/ paramedic for the last five years were he completed the advanced paramedic training programme in University College Dublin.
